Dr. Sylvie Lesage is Full Professor at the University of Montreal and Scientific Director of the Centre de recherche de l’Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont. Her research team focuses on cellular immunogenetics, and strives to understand the dynamics of different immune cell populations related to susceptibility to complex genetic diseases. With ~100 articles in career, these studies serve as a translational research springboard for restoring the immune balance to prevent the onset or slow the progression of autoimmune diseases and cancers.
